Friday, 4:40 pm

The stack of paper always wins.

Four things go wrong between the job site and the payroll run. None of them are your bookkeeper's fault.

Friday afternoons lost to typing

Photograph the whole stack instead. Minutes, not an afternoon.

“Is that a seven or a nine?”

Trained on job-site handwriting, and every entry stays reviewable next to its photo.

Overtime applied from memory

Daily and weekly thresholds, lunches, stat holidays — computed, not recalled.

Five sheet formats per crew

Recognition is tuned to your forms during onboarding. You keep your paper.

How it works

Snap. Check. Send.

Ninety seconds end to end, and the paper never leaves the truck.

01

Snap

Photograph the signed sheet. A phone is enough — creases, pencil and coffee rings included.

02

Check

Every recognized entry sits beside the photo it came from. Fix anything in one click.

03

Send

Download the Excel your bookkeeper already uses. Same template, hours already computed.

The part nobody else does

Your payroll rules. Not ours.

Every competitor stops at a table of times. In Canada overtime is provincial, daily and weekly at once, and every company deducts lunch differently. That arithmetic is the product — and every threshold below is a setting you control, not a rule we impose.

Daily and weekly overtime thresholds, set per project

Statutory holidays flow straight to overtime

Lunch deducted by shift length, on your tiers

The week starts Monday or Sunday — your call

Hourly rates turning hours into live labour cost — on the roadmap

See it read a sheet

Pick a sheet. Watch the totals land.

A tidy sheet, a bad-pencil sheet, and a stat-holiday day where the overtime rule does the interesting work.

For bookkeeping firms

Many contractors. One login.

Switch between clients without logging out. Separate Excel templates, separate provincial rules, separate crews — and nobody buys a seat for a worker who writes on paper.

Questions from every first call

Straight answers.

Will it read rough handwriting?
Usually. It’s tuned on job-site sheets, not office forms, and nothing exports unchecked. Every entry sits beside the photo of the row it came from, with anything doubtful flagged for you.
What if we use our own sheet format?
That’s the normal case. Attach a photo of one to your request and recognition is tuned to it before your first upload.
Where does our data live?
Canadian-region cloud, with every company’s data isolated from every other company’s. The details are on the security page.
What's in the demo account?
Your own workspace: twenty sheets over fourteen days, your real sheets, your rules. If it works, that same workspace becomes your full account, and nothing gets re-entered.
What does it cost?
Flat monthly plans based on sheet volume, with no per-worker seats. We quote after the demo, once we know your volume and how many formats need tuning.
Do our workers need an app?
No. Your crew keeps writing on paper. The only person who touches the software is whoever photographs the sheets.
Does this replace our payroll software?
No, it feeds your payroll software. You get the hours in the Excel your bookkeeper already uses; deductions, vacation pay and remittances stay where they are. A QuickBooks-ready CSV export is on the roadmap.
